Alpha Gamma Chapter was installed and the University of Nevada in Reno, Nevada, on May 14, 1921. Alpha Gamma Chapter was closed on December 31, 2000.

A local sorority on the Nevada campus known as Iota Omicron Alpha Omicron was investigated by Rachel V. Colby (California-Berkley, 1894) and San Francisco alumnae with the result that the petition of the local group was accepted. Twenty-four charter members of Alpha Gamma Chapter were initiated on May 14, 1921 by Kathryn Hyde, Helen Robinson (both California-Berkley, 1918) and Helen Beattie (California-Berkley, 1920).
